Hartford Business Partners
We Sell Companies with Sales in the $3 to $20 Million Range

About Us

Company Overview

We assist sellers and buyers of privately owned companies and have many satisfied clients. You may have read our name in prominent business journals, or had a business associate mention a deal we helped put together. We are “merger & acquisition specialists”. HBP provides unbiased in-depth knowledge and expert guidance in an extensive range of markets. We offer merger and acquisition services for privately owned middle-market companies planning to sell a company, purchase a company, purchase a new product line, or in need of financing to organically grow the business.

An important component that cannot be overlooked these days is our ability to "get the deal done". We know the in and outs of each phase of the selling, buying and financing process. That’s the difference between having a successful outcome and not completing the deal.

We say “tongue in cheek” that the easy part is the selling or purchasing of the company. In fact we earn our money during the due diligence, financing, document preparation and assisting in the processing of the transaction.

Selling middle-market companies is always a challenge. You need to maximize the selling price, ensure that share holder value is maximized and maintain the confidentiality of the deal.

If you’re seeking to secure financing for the acquisition, give us the responsibility of securing the financing so you and your managers can continue to run your company while we get the financing in place.

As a rule of thumb, it usually takes 4-12 months to sell or acquire a company.
